Welcome Summer Solstice
Well, June is here, and summer plans are ramping up. At the end of last month, my story “Unlikely Friends” was published in the release of Summer When the Doors Open anthology by the Transcendent Authors.( the link: https://books2read.com/u/mgPYV7) While creating the trailer for this story, I found two theme songs that I really liked, so guess what? Yes, I actually recorded the songs using the same trailer. One is called “Moments” and the other “Awaken.” What has been interesting people have reached out to me letting which song they like. So at the end of this are the links to the trailers and also the book.
I love listening to the early morning bird chattering, so I wake up earlier to take a walk and bask in their melodious conversation while I reflect. The creative juices are really flowing as I ramp up this summer with finishing my novel’s Revision Plan, working on a short story called “The Rambler.” Deceit, the upcoming Transcendent Authors anthology, will feature this story.
My Mom’s memoir has shed light on things that I never noticed as a child, and reading it as an adult has given me a new appreciation for her life experiences. My goal is to have everything dictated into a word document before the month is over.
Oh! My co-creator and I finally have a logo design check it out under the Trailer Tab.
Whether you’re on the road or at home, make time to appreciate the sensory experience of the sounds of summer this month. I’ll be sitting at my computer, typing away.
Here’s to a wonderful month, happy June!
