December 2023 Update

The Writing Practice Contest
I’m concluding the year by participating in a writing contest with two short stories. I eagerly submitted my story, The Black-eyed Pea, to The Write Practice Contest. To read it, click on this link.
I also submitted a book cover for The Black-eyed Pea
Good News and Other Projects
????I mentioned the possibility of collaborating with another author on a personal essay project together. Despite our best efforts in multiple meetings, our schedules were incompatible. Although I am disappointed, who knows, there might be a possibility in 2024.
????I was selected to be part of the 100 Authors Project 2024. Along with other authors we will document or daily life as a writer. At the end of 2024 they will be compiled into a book.
????????My Wish for You
As this year comes to a close and celebrations are in full swing, I encourage you to find a moment of solitude for yourself. Reflect on your achievements this year and set your sights on 2024, where bigger dreams await.
????????My Holiday Behind the Scenes
Taking some time off to enjoy the company of my beloved family and friends during the holiday season fills my heart with joy. As I immerse myself in the cozy atmosphere of my home, the sight of the twinkling lights on the Christmas tree brings a sense of warmth and serenity. At my neighborhood Starbuck’s, I am enjoying the warmth of the cozy atmosphere while engaging in lively conversations with friends. I’m staying with my frothy cappuccinos and leaving the holiday drinks to my friends. I will catchup on reading and writing for sure since I’m taking a break from my students and meetings. Hope you will do the same.
