Behind the Scenes

Inspiration behind my writing & creativity this month…

April

Finally the season is beginning to look a lot like spring.

A change is in the air

As I hit the pavement each morning for my morning exercise and time of quiet, I am surrounded by the sweet smell of the blooms of spring, like blue moon crocuses and daffodils.

Transition into April I recently completed
Last month, I was lucky enough to chat with some authors about the struggle of finding time to write with a plethora of other demands vying for attention. I have written two blogs, submitted a draft of my upcoming short story Unlikely Friends, and created mini recordings for a new project. I have been working with a bevy medical team to address the shoulder injury I sustained earlier in the year.

A little chat with friends

These authors, with their impressive writing styles, were open and honest with us and we found many similarities as we wrote and shared our stories with our readers.

Looking ahead

I am eager to work with my editor to hone my short story, Unlikely Friends, before we publish it later this spring season. Drafting a synopsis for this short story and a trailer.

Putting in the effort to come up with a new design for this website, so stay tuned for more information.

As the April showers come, they will bring a cool, crisp breeze that will revitalize the air.
